JC Cassis is a first place winner of Amateur Night at the Apollo Theatre in Harlem, NYC, where she sang "I Have Nothing," by Whitney Houston. She is a native New Yorker and a graduate of Harvard University, where she majored in Spanish, Portuguese and French.
She moved back to New York City after college to pursue music, and in the short time since then, she has built her own home studio and taught herself to record, edit and produce music, build a website, make music videos, and make album art. JC is a multi-tasking, fully self-sufficient independent artist who started from scratch and expects to build a high-flying musical career as a performer, songwriter and producer.
