About Quiet Riot
Quiet Riot, whose 1983 success of their debut release "Metal Health" contributed to launching the 80'S LA metal scene, are ranked at number 100 on VH1's "100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock".

On August 27, 1983, Quiet Riot second single "Cum On Feel The Noize" was released and spent two weeks at #5 on the Billboard chart in November 1983. It is considered the first heavy metal song to make the Top 5 on Billboard's Hot 100 singles chart. The success of the single helped carry "Metal Health" to the top of the Billboard pop album charts, making it the first American heavy metal album to ever reach #1 in the USA.

A #1 album and a top 5 single were unheard of for a heavy metal band in 1983. The Metal Health album also displaced the Police's Synchronicity album from the #1 spot. Metal Health paved the way for a new, stronger commercial viability for heavy metal. Metal Healths title song, which was released as a single on March 11, 1983, charted in early 1984 and peaked at #31 partly due to the song's appearance in the 1984 movie Footloose.

The group's follow-up, Condition Critical, was released on July 7, 1984 selling over 2 million units. This release included the single, "Mama Weer All Crazee Now".

Subsequent releases by QUIET RIOT includes:

1986 QRIII
1988 Quiet Riot
1993 Terrified
1995 Down to the Bone
1999 Alive and Well
2001 Guilty Pleasures

2005 was a year of touring on the Rock Never Stops Tour with Cinderella for Quiet Riot and featured the line up of Kevin DuBrow, Frankie Banali, Chuck Wright and new guitarist Alex Grossi.

It is now the year 2006, and the interest in Quiet Riot is still astonishing and continues to grow. Quiet Riot is a staple of numerous VH1 rock and metal shows, in which Kevin DuBrow and Frankie Banali have been featured guests. More importantly, Quiet Riot has recorded one of the most definitive releases in their career; entitled Rehab.

Rehab was released on October 3, 2006 by independent label Chavis Records. The lineup on the album is Kevin DuBrow, Frankie Banali, bassist Tony Franklin (ex The Firm and Blue Murder), & studio guitarist Neil Citron. Legendary singer Glenn Hughes also makes a guest vocal appearance.

The new material re introduces a retro sound and infuses it with the classic Quiet Riot style of writing that only the core members of Quiet Riot, Kevin DuBrow and Frankie Banali, are capable of delivering. Add one very special guest Glenn Hughes on the 1969 Spooky Tooth classic Evil Woman and Rehab stacks up to be an expertly assembled collection of new Hard Rock. Rehab firmly grasps the past and catapults it through today, capitalizing on everything that is Quiet Riot, yet unleashing a brand new and musically powerful Quiet Riot.

Quiet Riot has been a great part to the soundtrack of a generation, and continues to bring their brand of music to fans of old and new. Kevin DuBrow and Frankie Banali, along with Alex Grossi and Chuck Wright, continue to actively tour playing all the classics and now introducing some new ones. The renewed energy and excitement of Quiet Riot shines through on Rehab. In a genre that has been stereotyped, Quiet Riot has escaped that label and re emerged as a viable entity in todays music world.
