LZ Love on AirPlay Direct

Born in Chicago and raised in Berkley, California, LZ started singing at her mothers church at the age of 5 and has been singing ever since. Mainly known for her back-up vocals, LZ had the pleasure to record with many of the great artists. LZ made a name for herself with releases in the UK of her dance records from 1999 to 2005.

In 2001 LZ formed a partnership with Phoenix and co wrote all the material on their first and second release, "ONE" released in 2001, and "Standing Wide-Legged and Proud" released in 2003.

In 2005 LZ released "Anytime" a single on Swing City Records in the UK. She also did recordings with Michael Franti and Spearhead for a new CD to be released in 2006 and released "Singing Gospel in Austin" 2005.

LZ is now living in Austin Texas, the live music capital of the World.

"My Higher Ground" CD - Released 2006 that features Tommy Castro, Michael Franti, Shelly King, Ernest "Boom" Carter from Springsteen's E Street Band, Eric McCann from Bonnie Raitt's group. LZ coproduced the new CD with Jay Bowman, (Producer for Michael Franti Spearhead and Cake.)

"My Higher Ground" is full of Funk, Rock, Modern R&B, Southern Blues. It will appeal to all age groups. This CD has a lot to say, it is the most personal CD that LZ has ever done. We are proud to announce that this CD will be released on Feb 14th, 2006 in Austin Texas.
