Whitney Wolanin (pronounced WHOA-Lan-in) on "Honesty":

"Honesty" centers on the ironic notion that when someone is being "honest", they're really spinning more half-truths to keep you in the same state: stuck in the middle of nowhere. I've seen this in nearly every facet of life: from relationships, to politics, to business. It's the worst kind of placating because it begins a vicious cycle of deceit. "Honesty" is a stand against it.
