Biography
Kenny Young hails from the southern shore area of New Jersey. Though, you’d think he hailed from somewhere below the Mason-Dixon Line after hearing his debut album, “Simple Things”. Kenny wrote all but two of the songs: ‘Walk Away Renee’ (Michael Lookofsky & Tony Sansone) and ‘Midnight Rider’ (Greg Allman & Kim Payne).

Kenny’s life has traveled many roads and he has paved them into a collection of songs about, love, loss, and living life while enjoying the rare moments that we all experience as the simple things in life. It is the simple things in life that should not be taken for granted and Kenny Young reflects on this fact in the title track, “Simple Things”.

Kenny Young is a songwriter that writes ballads that will touch your heart and songs that just plain rock!
