"Surrender", next album release from jazz R&B songwriter/musician Marco Santiago!
Marco Santiago is an American songwriter/musician based on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. He chucked a career as a high ranking professional earning a six figure salary with the National Intelligence Community to return to his first love; music.

Surrender, releasing in May 2013 is the initial studio release from his company, Pacific Pop Productions. Surrender features more vocals in the soft rock, R&B, jazz and blues venues as well as instrumentals.

His demo album, Rudiments, was released in August 2012 featuring smooth jazz, R&B, Latin and soft rock – a mixture of vocals and instrumental pieces.

Marco’s music is based on songwriting styles and flavors of the 1960’s but with a contemporary twist. He blends pop with blues and jazz sensibilities. His projects explore adult alternative soft rock, Latin, R&B, blues and jazz genres.


Debut Album "Rudiments" Released, Marco Santiago
Marco's first ten song collection, "Rudiments," released 20 August 2012. "Rudiments" is the first in a series of four planned albums. Each album will contain approximately 60 minutes of music with ten songs. The first two will focus on smooth jazz, latin and soft rock genres. The last two albums will deal with heavier things in deeper waters.

Marco's style features smooth voice, solid beat, classy songs; a bit of Doors, Steely Dan, Clapton & Beck; Barney Kessel 50-60s jazz meets Santana latin grooves; a taste of Scotch and a shot of James Bond; rhythm and blues jazz-pop from Hawaii.

Second album in series, "Surrender," has a planned release date of March 2013.
