Songs From Home

A reprise from our "Songs from Home" album. This is a tribute song to our men and women who are serving this country.
This war is a little different than others in the fact that we are able to "skype" with our loved ones. The song is written about a young man who was skyping with his parents when an attack began and his computer flew in the air and landed with the camera still running.
Mom and dad watched as their son threw on his flack jacket and grabbed a gun to fight and anxiously waited for over 90 minutes for their son to return.
It's a song from the soldier's point of view. Haunting and poignant.
