This life's a journey sometimes a long one
at time's its like a marathon
that finish line is such a far place
sometimes it's hard to carry on

even the young they can get weary
and the strong they will grow weak
but we will ride on wings of eagles
when the power of the Lord is what we seek

it's a rocky road we travel
and there are mountains in our way
there are rivers in deep canyons
just crossing is a struggle every day

along that path some work against us
quite story they'll try to paint
don't run alone you'll never make it
you need the spirit and a heart that isn't faint
