New Single “That’s What’s Good In America”

Fans can preview and purchase the song at iTunes, Amazon, CD Baby, Google Play, and www.ShannonandHeatherslaughter.com.

Bluegrass, Country, Folk, Americana and other radio programmers can download the song at AirPlayDirect.com.

“That’s What’s Good in America” is from Shannon and Heather’s successful chart album, Never Just A Song. “At a time when politics are really dividing this country, America is still a great place to live! I got this idea driving to work one day when I saw a man working in his (very large) garden. I finished the song with the help of Gerald Ellenburg at his cabin in South Carolina. It’s about all the things I am involved with in my life - coaching football, being a husband, and a new father. The last verse is my favorite on the whole record,” said Shannon.
Never Just A Song has spent the last four weeks in the top five on the Roots Music Report’s Top 50 Bluegrass Albums. The album also includes their chart hit “Moonshiner” that is currently appearing on SiriusXM Radio’s Bluegrass Junction Most Played Tracks for May. The song just spent eight consecutive weeks on the Bluegrass Today's Top 20 Weekly chart along with two months on the Bluegrass Top 20 Monthly chart.

Shannon and Heather are now on tour including their upcoming performance May 22-23 at the Back 40 Bluegrass Festival in Curryville, Missouri.
