D.L. Duncan recorded this album in 2010 with Grammy winner Kevin McKendree at The Rock House in Franklin ,TN.

Duncan wrote all the songs & invited some friends to help him express his musical vision.

Guests include former Allman Brother guitarist,Jack Pearson, and Delbert McClinton blows harmonica on the song DL wrote with Clay McClinton, " Heartache Who's Time Has Come".
Nashville's Sweetheart,Jonell Mosser, adds some spice with her soulful vocals on "1-800 Use To Be" & also on "The Blues Comes In All Colors".

Included here is Duncan's version of "1-800-Use To Be", which was recorded a few years back by country superstar, Lorrie Morgan.

DL Duncan has played guitar music professionally for over 35 years now. He has dug deeply into the roots of American roots music.. playing pedal steel guitar with cowboy singer Johnny Western, rockabilly 6 string with piano great SE Willis, learning deep blues from Jack Pearson & The Nationals.. and spankin’ the plank with jam band cult favorites GooseCreek Symphony.

As a songwriter, DL Duncan has had over 25 songs recorded by other artists. He has had 3 Song of The Year nominations for Blues songs performed by Curtis Salgado, 2 Gold Records for his songs recorded by country stars Lorrie Morgan & Buddy Jewel. He also has 4 self-produced solo CDs of DL Duncan music to his credit..

Guest artists on DL’s first two CDs include Jack Pearson (former Allman Brother), Delbert McClinton, Reese Wynans ( from SRV), and Mark Wenner of The Nighthawks,

DL’s most recent release is Duncan Street, Baptized by The Blues. Released in April of 2014, this album has received airplay worldwide and went to #1 on the Blues Debut Chart and to #2 on The Tennessee Roots Music Chart ( behind Johnny Cash no less). DL Duncan wrote 8 of the songs on the album and the reviews have been stellar.
The album is a spirited collaboration with artist Stan Street from Clarksdale, MS. Recorded very live in Lafayette, Louisiana, this new collection of upbeat country blues songs feature Street on harmonica, kick drum, & cardboard box.
