I wrote this the day I met my friend Clay McClinton. We sat down at my kitchen table and before long we had this true to life song knocked out.
I was doubly blessed to have Clay's dad, Delbert McClinton, play harmonica when we cut this song.

By the way, the totally badass bass player on this session is the great Steve Mackey, who played in Delbert's band for years..
