Walkin' Thru The Park

Dave Duncan has covered one of his favorite Muddy Waters song here. With a "mambo" feel for the intro & outro, this song just swings.
Harmonica excellence provided by Mark Wenner, the founder of The Nighthawks blues band near DC. This band was a huge influence on Dave Duncan & it was a real honor to have Mr Wenner on this recording.

Brother Jimmy Nalls also contributed on this cut..playing guitar & in general lifting everyone up. Jimmy has struggled mightily with Parkinson's disease and it was a real joy to include him on this record. He is still a tremendous blues guitarist, even after the disease has taken so much from him.

Piano on this track is the mighty Reese Wynans.

All in all, we had a blast recording this blues shuffle.
