Blank Sheets of Paper

If the World Could Find Peace for just One day. That was the first line that I had when I decided to write this song.I was watching the news one night, and, It struck me how repetitive it was day after day. Killing, Robberies, child molestation, rape, domestic violence and on and on. I remember thinking, they use to just highlight the largest stories on the national news, now it has to be edited down locally daily. I remember thinking how polarized we have become in our society. It’s like two armies marching toward each other. I thought to myself, “Wouldn’t it be nice if we could have Peace for just one day”. That was when I began writing this song. We don’t tolerate each other like we should. We aren’t all the same. We need to learn to be a compassionate society again. I hope this song will encourage people to love one another again.
