The Backyard Blues Bandits

In 2013 at the request of City Council in Bessemer Alabama, The Police Raided "Gips Place", The oldest Juke Joint in the nation, and one of the few still operating. They quickly discovered How famous, Gips Place was when the social media caught fire. People from all over the world were upset by it, and People came forward to assist in having it reopened a short time later. I wrote this song as a tribute to Gip Gibson and his establishment.
