In Memorial of Dan's Dad 1LT Robert W Merrick US Army WWII 1918 - 2000

Dan wrote this song as a patriotic tune to inspire the country in the two year fight against covid and in rememberance of his and his father's service in the US Army. Dan's Dad died from SARS in 2000 during the first pandemic that went unnoticed by most. Robert fought in World War Two and Dan recently discovered photos by Ernie Pile the famous photographer who took many documenatry news photos during the war.

Dan is a cold war and desert strom era veteran and retired with service connected disabilities in 2004 from the reserves. Dan's hope is that this song will inspire a new generation in hope for the country by remembering the past times when history showed how the United States overcame unbeatable odds to emerge in victory.
