In the City of Angels it's easy to get lost or over looked, but then it’s hard to overlook a shooting star. They have a way of exploding without warning, something singer/songwriter Clay DuBose is known for. His song library has been winning fans all over the world with his refreshing blend of Country, Rock, Americana and Texas Swing for years now.

From his early days as lead singer of Normandy, an LA based Rock band, through his deeply personal "Christian" recordings to his "Traditional Country" recordings, they all capture the emotions of music lovers globally.

Like the basics of love the album “These Days” brings us back to the basics of music featuring power ballads "Captivated" and "Crack in the Armor", a deeply personal song written in tribute to his father, to the jazz infused rockabilly "No Accident", a definite get out and have fun song that will break a sweat on any dancer to "She Cries" a more traditional love song.

The album "These Days" features guitarist Will Ray and includes ace L.A. players like Greg Leisz, Danny Timms, Mike Clarke and Rami Jaffe of The Wallflowers, and four songs recorded with Brian Hofeldt and The Derailers, Augie Meyers, Big John Mills and Garth Hudson. It follows “Rewriting History” which is now a collectors album filled with Traditional Country recordings.

“The Texas Chameleon” delivers once again with songs covering a variety of musical genres. His ability to change musical styles with his diverse vocal abilities continues to make believers across the musical spectrum of the ages making DuBose one of the most talented singer/songwriters of our time. Whether he is writing Country, Rock, Americana, Texas Swing or Honyk-Tonk his music is always "Traditional and Original" and is always colored with Rock & Blues elements.

We simply call it Clay Country.
