Biography
BEACON TREE's Cisco Oldmen Kam fuses his rapping with Jon Estep's intimate voice and beat-driven acoustic guitar. Their lyrics are drawn from Cisco's college studies in philosophy and touch on both the personal and the political. Like yin and yang, fire and water - Cisco's edgy verses delve deep into each song's subject and are counterbalanced by Jon's smooth, ever-optimistic vocal choruses. Cisco and Jon both grew up in Hawaii and their island roots shine through their lyrics and their music. Full length album coming soon.

"Something about Beacon Tree's acoustic sound grabbed me right away - As soon as I heard these guys I knew I wanted to work with them. I think they are pioneers in the acoustic hip-hop genre."
- Grammy Award-winning producer Charles Michael Brotman
