I drove through Charlotte, headed for Boone, stopped by at Merlefest, and played them my tunes....
She served me breakfast, along with a smile...we toured the stages, talked for awhile...
She said her marriage had, fallen apart, she kissed me tender, gave me her heart...
Our days were magic, our nights so long, but I was scheduled....had to move on...
