Run John Run

This song was inspired by that great old Sidney Poitier/Harry Belafonte movie "Buck and The Preacher". I was watching it and thought that the Night Riders would make a great, spooky subject for a song. Coincidentally with that, I had been trying to write a song with the famous Bo Diddley beat. The two concepts came together for "Run John Run".
