Lonely Weekend
The fourth single from singer/songwriter Bo Walton is another out-and-out rock ’n’ roll tune in the
classic sense.
Capturing the spirit of the likes of Eddie Cochran and Billy Fury, “LONELY WEEKEND” tells of love
and loss – not to mention insomnia – following betrayal at the hands of someone who should have
been his wingman. In just 150 seconds of blistering guitar work and words of woe, Bo travels back in time but leaves no doubt about his 21st-century relevance.
As with Bo Walton’s 2012 debut album Waiting On A Dream, this brand-new track has been produced by British rock legend John David at his Berry Hill Studio in Gloucestershire. John David has previously worked with Dire Straits, Robert Plant, T’Pau and numerous other artists.
“LONELY WEEKEND” is already picking up airplay on rock ’n’ roll radio shows on both the BBC and
commercial stations, and Bo will be carrying out interviews in support of the single.
Live dates are planned across the UK throughout 2013 to promote Bo’s singles and the forthcoming
second album.
