Our Love is Slipping Away

We had so much fun recording “Right Hand Road” we thought we’d do another song in the same acoustic setting. This came to be just like the one before. D.L. scribbled a few lyrics down and introduced a groove and away we went. We tracked three or four takes that we liked but it was getting SO late we thought it best to come back in the morning and take another stab at it. We did three or four more takes the next day that were technically better but ultimately we ended up using one of the first takes from the night before. It just had that special vibe that you look for in a great track.
