The birth of rock and roll story. That's my Nashville co-writer, Peter Cronin, on that great background vocal that just lights the track up. Together with Thomm Jutz, we wrote a lot of songs in a year and a half, and learned a lot. When Peter pitched it to Tony Brown at the time, Tony said "Have you played that for Kid Rock? That's Kid Rock's Credo!" But I don't believe it's been pitched to Kid Rock since then, he's not exactly in our circle of acquaintances..(how about yours?)
