About Candy Rose

Candy Rose 100% independent Singer/Songwriter from London, U.K. She writes/co-writes almost all of her material. She has many influences, from the Late Great Michael Jackson to Madonna to Nirvana to Alicia Keys and Fall Out Boy to name a few.

She is an avid fan of Patrick Stump - so much so, she wrote a song for him - and has been tipped as one of the new U.K indie Artists to watch and keep listening to. She is not restricted in her genre or style of music and her album features something for all.

Her début single So You Know was released on the 10th of August, 2009 and Candy was soon invited to Aston FM for her first ever live Radio show with John Taylor, where she sang a live rendition of So You Know, the acoustic version.

NME said of So You Know “Fizzling eclectic Girly Pop” but the B-side track of So You Know, titled Stop Talking, is creating quite a buzz in the club scene in London and Europe.

The second single from her Album titled You Are Everything, was released on the 18th of September 2009; and again the B-side is creating a buzz in the clubs.

Her sensational début album, A Rollercoaster Love, was released on the 28th of September 2009. The album is a mixture of R&B, Dance, Commercial club, Modern Pop and rock; and stands out in a world of manufactured pop as an original record.

So You Know went on to stay at the number 1 spot of Vox Africa’s Urban Fire show for 12 weeks.

Candy then released Meet You In The Club, the Remix EP accompaniment to A Rollercoaster Love on the 23rd of December 2009 and has recently released it’s You That I Love on the 13th of February 2010.

A Rollercoaster Love seems set to blow up in 2010, with the U.K music industry seeking that new individual non-manufactured sound. Candy has only just started, if you follow her tweets, twitter id: icandyrose, you’ll know she’s been writing some new material for her next album and is getting ready for her fans to see her for the first time.

Candy Rose’s music impressed the head honcho’s at Superdrug that she was featured in 10 major branches around the U.K on Wednesdays and Saturdays in a show created for the store titled, Unsigned and On Air in Superdrug. The show started on the 27th of March 2010. There are now talks of possibly rolling this show out to all 750 branches across the U.K.

Candy’s club popular song, Stop Talking, was selected by L.A Music Pipelines show and was featured as what’s hot in L.A by Big FM.
