NEW RELEASE Chris Burton - Wandering Again
(Roanoke, VA Oct. 2015) Look out!! The latest project from singer-songwriter Chris Burton is now available for rotation; all ORIGINALS, a number of kinds of music, all exceptional. Chris is accompanied by a “who’s who” in the Bluegrass world, including giants Adam Steffey, Ron Stewart, Aaron Ramsey, and Jason Moore on seven of the cuts, with the award winning Junior Sisk singing one. It's Your Road, a Country ballad sung by Detour’s Missy Armstrong, will evoke many emotions, as will a new wedding song, co-written and sung by Chris’ daughter Allison. Chris explains…

So, here it is. My second project. Wandering Again. While conveniently one of the song titles, it’s more than that. Creatively wandering, I guess. I wanted to incorporate a number of different kinds of music, as it makes more sense to me creatively to contribute more than one kind, especially for an all original project. The balance is mainly Bluegrass, but I’ve also added a Country Ballad, an A Capella Gospel number, a couple of Rock & Roll tunes, a Bluegrass Christmas song, and a wedding song I wrote with my daughter, Allison. She sings the heck out of it. My sincere hope is that you hear something you like, that makes you smile, makes you think, or simply evokes some kind of emotion, as that is what music has always done for me. The final words of my favorite Simon & Garfunkel song I think sums it up: “here I am…” Thanks for listening.

Take the time to travel this eclectic path of original music, as the twists and turns will likely take you many different places.
