Cherry Mine

A friend of mine handed me a book a few years ago and said "You should write a song about this." The book, "Trapped: The 1909 Cherry Mine Disaster," indeed moved me to write about it. I can still see those men roaming dark tunnels, waiting and praying to see the light of day again.
