Forevermore A Priest

When we had the Year of the Priest, I was inspired to write a song about the priesthood. Since the song "Amazing Grace" is very popular, I decided to use that melody. It was my decision to write 12 verses for this song because of the 12 Apostles -- the first priests. I was able to have my friend, Joe Geehern, accompany me on the organ and have it filmed by Tim Hourihan at St. Mary's Church in Westfield, MA so it could be put on You Tube. (just type my name into the search box at youtube.com to see it) They were kind enough to donate their time and talent to make it possible. God bless them both! If you watch the video, you will see that I have my head covered with a lace mantilla. As a sign of reverence, I always have my head covered when I am in the presence of my Eucharistic Lord.
