God's Love

Lord, I sing to You with joy in my heart!

My sweet Lord, Jesus, how I love You!
You suffered and died for love of me,
humbling Yourself to become man.
Your resurrection has set me free.

Whenever I’m troubled or in sorrow
I rely on the strength that comes from You,
filling me with Your peace and comfort.
Without Your great love what would I do?

Your infinite Love is my great treasure.
Without it I simply could not live.
Each day You grant me so many blessings!
I gratefully take all that You give.

Even before my mother knew me,
You loved me with such tender care.
I’m never alone for you are here (dwelling in my heart)
There’s no other love that can compare.

I know that I’m nothing without You, Lord.
I’m dependent upon You for each breath.
For love of You, I'll keep Your commandments.
I'll trust in You, Jesus, 'til my death.

You clothe me with joy that’s never ending,
feeding my soul with Your precious Body and Blood.
Then we’re joined in intimate union with each other.
I’m overwhelmed by so great a Love.
You overwhelm me with Your great Love!

Now my heart is overflowing.
Fill me, Lord!
Then I'll share this love of Yours with others.

You are awesome, God,
so powerful and yet so loving!
Triune God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
Lover, Beloved, the Love between Them –
God is Love.

Why can’t all people see
what You have made so clear to me?
I will tell them --
I’ll tell them of Your everlasting LOVE.
