Biography
About Dendee.

Dendee grew up in a house in the north London suburb of wood green. As a child he spent a lot of time playing in the grounds of Alexandra Palace. The Palace was
built in 1873 to provide Victorians with a great environmental and recreational facility. In 1935 it became the home for the BBC television service, which made its first public transmissions in 1936. Though still a child he was very keen to pursue music and joined the wood green Salvation Army. In the Salvation Army he learned to play cornet, but he really wanted to play an instrument that helped him write songs. At Christmas mum and dad came to the rescue and bought him his first guitar.

In the late seventies Dendee lived alone in a small apartment in the suburbs of south London England. He was a self taught guitar player, who learned to play because he wanted to write songs. He bought some basic recording equipment so that he could lay down his song ideas.

It wasn’t long after that he landed a publishing deal with the worlds biggest independent music publisher, Peer Music. At first there was great enthusiasm from both sides, but when the songs didn’t happen things cooled. Life after that, mainly consisted of playing in a band a few nights a week and working as a recording studio engineer, but he still continued his song writing.

In February 1994 he moved to Florida and began buying new digital recording equipment. The technology was now available to have a home recording studio at a fraction of previous prices. He began recording all of the basic tracks that later became his first album, I’m a Limey Redneck in Chicago. which was released in 2000.

In April 2000 Dendee got an email from an Australian radio station which simply read,
"great songs mate!" To his surprise the only 2 comedy songs on the album were in the stations airplay chart. Dendee took the hint and album 2, I've Got a Feeling in my Water, included even more comedy songs.

True, not all Dendee's songs are comedy, but he is now well known for this unique music gender.

The latest release from Dendee, I CAN’T BE SERIOUS, is not only a reflection of what Dendee fans love, but also a sample of songs you will hear a live show. It was Dendee fans that ultimately decided that he should emerge as a full musical comedy act. Why? Because they are songs they loved and purchased the most.
We have included 10 very popular Dendee songs as follows: Her Butt's Too Big, Would you Hold my Chalupa, I’m a Limey Redneck, I Want a Cup of Tea, I've Got The Comb Over Blues, Big Boys Don't Cry, People Don't Bite Dogs, So Why Do Dogs Bite People, You've Gotta Keep Slimming Down, My New Shoes & Monty Show Us Your Python. All 10 songs are I-tunes Dendee favorites.
