Same Auld Lang Syne

After many delays, the first single from the new recording by Don Rigsby and David Thom is available for download for airplay just in time for Christmas. The song, “Same Auld Lang Syne”, is a holiday themed remake of a classic by the late Dan Fogelberg. “I have loved this song since I was a teenaged boy. I always wanted to find a place to record it and this seemed like the right time”, said Rigsby.
“New Territory” will be available for purchase and download for radio January 10, 2016. The recording covers the gamut from Bluegrass to originals and Americana. It is the first release for the Rigsby and Thom duet on 9 Lives Records. Thom said,” I am stoked about this recording. It has been a labor intense effort requiring recording sessions in Kentucky, California, Missouri and Tennessee.
