Aul Purpis
Biography
The Hip Hop Sound of Philadelphia has a name and presence in the manifestation of the super group 84. The three man hip hop platoon consists of lyrical warlords AulPurpis (All Purpose) and FatNice combined with beat digging alien and DJ Blaak the 9th Man. They are the main ingredient for a new and nutritious sound for this and many generations to come.

Birthed from the soul of Philly Hip Hop Underground legends Prophets of the Ghetto, 84 is what AulPurpis calls “ a re-entry to creating classic material”. Whether over the pulsating rhythmic groove of the Kev Brown produced, “Do You” or the melodic haunting of The Souldiggaz mystic production of “Ahhhhhhh,” Our beginnings were in the ghettos of Pennsylvania’s West Philadelphia asphalt and Chicago’s monstrous winds. Hailing from Philadelphia, North and West respectively, is AulPurpis. AulPurpis is what FatNice simply calls “ the truth and right now a lot of cats in Hip Hop been lying on the truth.” AulPurpis has spanned the globe with the power forces of DJ Cash Money and Bahamadia. If the story of AulPurpis resembles that of the cape clad protector of metropolis…SuperMan.

Then the experience of Blaak the 9th Man resembles that of a super soul hero in his own right and as his compadres call him the some kind of new millennium soul invention. This soul diggin human machine is the keeper of the knowledge of all things soulful. The windy city word wizard FatNice resembles somewhat of an odd character because of his inventiveness, penmanship, quick wit, intellect, and presence. FatNice is like a scientist through his experiments with consonants and vowels. Inventor, scientist, politician, performer, educator, and philosopher…
