Two tracks from Forever Green's new 2010 self-titled album, this Russian artists features catchy pop rock songs.
"In the past years, Gennady Freytag has worked in various bands including Symphonica, Smirnoff, Drink Up, Tir and Sky as a guitarist, arranger and author of ideas. His current musical project in which he is the composer, musician and arranger and has female vocalists lead this Pop Rock band, Forever Green. Gennady claims his main inspirations are God, The Beatles, ABBA, ELO, Sting, Duran Duran, Depeche Mode and Kelly Clarkson. In 2008 Gennady participated in the selection round of the Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow.
Principle songwriter of Forever Green, Gennady Freytag was born on August 22, 1967 in St. Petersburg, Russia. Born into a creative family, at the age of 10 Gennady became interested in music and at 13 he began playing guitar. Between 1989 and 1993, Gennady studied at a Musical University with a concentration in Jazz guitar."
