Biography

Fusion Orchestra – the group of musicians from Sevastopol, Crimea, UA, that creates and performs music based on the re-conceptualization and combination of live ethnic and contemporary musical stylistic tools and textures.

Fusion Orchestra was formed in 1998 as a jazz-rock/fusion band. At that time, it included the Sergey Bogdan (acoustic guitar), Tatyana Kudryavtseva (violin), Marina Zatsepina (cello), Elvira Kalnik (vocal), Andrey Tupysev (drums), Pavel Voronezhsky (bass), Alexey Yanikov (accordion) and Sergey Popovsky (flutes). In 2001 Fusion Orchestra released CD album called "Musical Novelle" and after that, its cast was completely changed to the current version.

Creation of delicate "musical landscape" based on composing and improvisation for gigs, clubs, exhibitions, vernissages or any kind of parties – that’s the speciality of the Fusion Orchestra at this current time.

Fusion Orchestra has experience in participating in gigs and fests where a similar style of music is expected, as well as working in cooperation in the writing of movies/performances sound tracks.
