Originally formed in 1997, Hell Society represents the cutting edge in modern Progressive Industrial Music. This Texas-based metal band delivers the goods with aggressive, hard driving guitars, gut wrenching bass, powerful, melodic vocals and explosive electronic synths and drums.
Influences include such old school metal greats as Iron Maiden, Pantera, Queensryche, and Sepultura as well as industrial pioneers, Nine Inch Nails, and Rob Zombie. Keith Pixx of DFW Noise Magazine describes the band's sound as "A mutant hybrid crossing of Marilyn Manson and Bruce Dickinson." He also added "I've seen them several times now, and I never get tired of their performance."
As visually appealing as they sound, Hell Society dawns "corpse paint" style makeup and spiked leather costumes. Despite the band's name and image, there is nothing "satanic" about them. Lyrical content deals with real life, everyday situations and "Hell Society" simply describes what the world has become.
