Hummingbird
In 1970 James Marvell and Buddy Good recorded "Humingbird" under the name The Country Cavaleers. Marvell sang lead and Good did the harmony. The song was produced by John Centinaro and Joe Melson. Melson is a well known songwriter who had written hits with Roy Orbison. Joe also produced Orbison. This fast moving classic was first recorded in the 40s by Johnny & Jack. James Marvell and The Cavaleers sound as fresh today as when they first walked into a Nashville studio with Dany Davis' Nashville Brass to record this Bluegrass Classic. This is the original recording!
