Traveler I - The Journey Begins
An almost 7 minutes instrumental track based on multi synth layers, pianos, orchestral elements and drums. Possibly a reminiscence of the 90's ambient and new age electro scene like Robert miles and etc... versatilities occur under a personal filtering of influences while the track builds up on rock elements trough it's drums and rhythm section combined with an aggressive and edgy climax of the arrangement and the musical flow of the synth layering.

The first track of JJacob's 57 minutes electronic instrumental (except one) music album. A rather dark album that asserts on existential, social and ecological issues. One might even consider it to be a movie soundtrack that yet has to be done. Actually, the album has a “hidden” storyline which starts with this track “Traveler I – The Journey begins”... Traveler sets up for a Journey just like as another Ulysses (Odysseus) of our times. It is about a quest for self realization and understanding the core of existence in our modern world which finally finds its resolution in the last song (Learning to Play) of the album, the one and only track that has lyrics.

Transcending any materialistic, philosophical and metaphysical approach, the Traveler discovers that our true existence is founded on the grace of simple things, answers? No, there are no any definite answers... the Journey has just begun!

“You've created a consummate work of dramatic and emotional beauty, Jacob. From the tender opening and building tensions of 'Traveler I - The Journey Begins', through the vitality of 'Gaia', the meditative melancholy that is 'One More Season', 'Ocean's sense of mystery, and the scary, textured dynamics of 'Uriel' to the beautiful and perfect vocal resolution that is 'Learning to Play'... this is nothing short of being the soundtrack to an epic voyage. Lovingly realised and well worth every second spent on it's creation. Wishing you much success and continued creativity!
