Gaia
“Gaia”, which in Greek (and ancient Greek) means Earth, is a rather aggressive and edgy track that asserts on ecological and social issues. Atmospheric combinations of synths and violins evolve gradually to an instrumental electro-rock song with a rough drum section and baseline. Accompanied with distorted guitars, sequencers and atmospheric trans elements, this track is nothing more than a cry for/of our planet and all living creatures upon it... ecological disasters are just part of wider social, economical and global political dead ends.

Amongst all the tracks of the album, this one is likely to be (statistically) the second most popular one after “Traveler I – The Journey begins” in all JJacob's social networks (Myspace, Reverbnation, etc) in more than 20.000 profile views and almost 10.000 plays so far (aggregated statistics, December 2010).
