DJ CHANCE AUSTIN INKS “INDUSTRY PRO” ENDORSEMENT DEAL WITH AIRPLAY DIRECT

AirPlay Direct is pleased to announce that we have signed an “Industry Pro” Endorsement Deal with DJ Chance Austin. The AirPlay Direct / Collection Evolution team is currently working closely with Chance to develop and heighten his brand, while growing his global radio syndication footprint for his radio show, the “Last Chance Medicine Show”. AirPlay Direct recently announced the launch of their new V.I.P. Endorsement / Professional Development Initiative. This strategic program was developed to grant specific endorsement opportunities, and professional services / resources to worthy artists, radio programmers and music industry professionals globally. AirPlay Direct’s consulting division, Collective Evolution, has developed and will now manage these new
programs for AirPlay Direct.

Fred John Boenig aka Chance Austin “Your most “humbled” host” has been a volunteer DJ since 1996. Starting as a Gospel DJ with his show “The Sunday Night Revival” on WDVR in Sergeantsville NJ. In 1997,he talked the owners into giving him 2 hours after his Sunday Night show to play this new format-“Americana” –he created “Hepcats and Neon Armadillo” a weekly show that soon overshadowed the Gospel show- He talked the owners into creating a Live Performance 1940’s style show called Americana on the Air- a show like “A Prairie Home Companion” his guests include relatively unknown artists Buddy & Julie Miller- Jimmie Lafave- Christine Lavin- Sandy Rogers. The station made him Program Director in 1998 and he took their annual budget from $20K a year to $200K a year in six years- Increasing the format to 105 hours a week of Americana-Bluegrass and Traditional Country- also bringing in some of the best DJs of the time to join the Staff- R W Shamy-“Big Kev”Ploghoft – Rich Evans
In 2000 he created The Heartlands Hayride” a live performance Radio Show that continues today on Saturday Night- He was at WDVR until 2009 .

He also was hosting shows on WMUH-Allentown WLVR-Bethlehem and was the Morning Show host on WXLV- Schnecksville NJ—for 4 years- all at the same time.
Currently he is the Morning Show host on WLVR- where he has been since 2006 and his show is called “The Last Chance Medicine Show”- a 3 hour show on M-T-W-Sat mornings- is best known for his outspoken views on topics of the day- but always with a wry sense of humor- The hour long version is focused on week news stories-
Chance Austin is a Gold Star Dad that lost his 19 yr old son in Afghanistan- 3 of the other 4 children are or have recently served in the military- So his passion as an Anti War activist comes through loud and clear- The Last Chance Medicine Show is a show about Music and Social Commentary- blending the songs of the poets of our time with weekly news events. Like Talk radio where the music does the talking. Once you make it through one show you’ll be hooked.
