A starkly moving and personal portrayal of the destruction and loss caused by domestic violence, Teacher Mother Sister Daughter was created as a cry for personal healing and understanding. With words and music by Tim Ponzek, Lisa Pressman sings about the tragic realities and consequences of Domestic Violence in our world today. Lisa and Tim have produced Teacher Mother Sister Daughter with the intention to raise awareness about Domestic Violence.

Lisa Pressman's passion is to compose beautiful melodies within sophisticated harmonies that lift the listener out of their everyday thoughts and concerns, and guide them to their 'happy place'. As Lisa often says, "A moment of healing lasts forever! My hope is that listeners will take away with them the sense of beauty and peace that I feel is instilled within our music".

On her newest recording Expecting Miracles, Lisa sings uplifting heartfelt lyrics that inspire spiritual reflection and celebration. Composed and co-produced with her husband, Tim Ponzek, Expecting Miracles features Lisa's dreamy piano and layers of her ethereal voices (a Lisa Choir!) with Tim’s graceful classical guitar and lush orchestrations.

Tomorrow The World and If The Sky Was Home feature Lisa performing Jazzy New Age compositions that are languid and mystical, and at other times, sensual and infused with Latin rhythms. Angel Dreaming: A New Dream is a magical and romantic New Age journey floating on layers of beautiful textures.

One of my compositions, “Forever And A Day” (from my CD “Tomorrow The World”), defines me best. “Forever And A Day” encapsulates all that I strive for in my music - a beautiful melody, unexpected harmonies, a rich orchestration, and a soaring vocalise for me to sing, all set to a gentle Latin rhythm.
