This lyric came to me through website for songwriters. Vince has a way with words, and this one laid out a neat story. The Latin vibe was an easy match for me, but I started with two choruses. The longer I lived with the piece, the more I liked the two contrasting choruses, and I worked it into the story. Memo Acevedo was in Toronto in June, 2014, and laid down the percussion parts. He loved the tunes, and his satisfaction can be heard at the very end of the cut. Check it out.
