Biography
Goryo Goryokaku alias Naoko Matsui, Violin

The soloist violinist at Collégiale Notre-Dame and Saint-Domitianus of Huy / Hoei Belgium on 01 June 2008 and the Immaculate Church of Crotone on 28 December 2014. Winner of the 1st Absolute Prize and the Golden Medal at XIII Paola City International Young Musicians Competition S. Francesco of Paola Prize (2015), the 1st Prize at X Greci City International Music Competition (2015), Golden Prize "In occasion of XXI Andrea Postacchini International Violin Competition" (2014), the 1st Prize at XVI Vincenzo Scaramuzza International Competition (2013), the 1st Prize at XV EUTERPE International Music Competition 2013, the 1st Absolute Prize with Golden Medal at VIII Luigi Denza International Young Musicians Competition (2013) and the Golden Medal of VII Luigi Denza International Young Musicians Competition (2012) at the Quisisana Palace of Castellammare di Stabia, the 1st Prize of XIX International Music Competition "Vittoria Caffa Righetti" at San Francesco Church of Cortemilia (2011), and two Honor Prizes at the T.I.M. (2012 in Paris France Final Series / 2008 Namur Belgium Series), etc.

Began the first violin lesson at the age of four years old and gave the first solo concert at the same year. Became soloist for the first time with orchestra at eleven years old for Doppelkonzert by Johann Sebastian Bach. One of the last pupils of Ex.-President Toho Gakuen School of Music (University) Toshiya Eto and his spouse and Ex.-Guest Professor Angela Eto until beginning more studying and concert career in EU (mainly in Belgium). During those studying gave the world premiere performance of “Mudai (Without Title)” for violin solo by Gou Hashimoto during Italo-Japanese International Contemporary Music Seminar by Italian composer Giaccomo Manzoni and performed as soloist violinist at Ex.-Casals Hall, Suntory Hall, Tokyo Opera City Recital Hall, Ex. Tokyu Bunka Kaikan Hall, Bario Hall, Move Machiya Concert Hall, Nippori Sunny Hall, Ebisu Beer Memorial Hall, etc. in Tokyo.

Since 2002 Naoko Matsui persued more studying and concert career in Belgium. During BA studying program with distinction at Conservatoire Royal de Musique de Bruxelles (CRMB) in the Violin Class by Adam Korniszewski, Naoko Matsui became soloist violinist for a symphonic work by Belgian Composer and Conductor Robert Janssens with the Orchestra of CRMB at the grand concert hall of CRMB in Spring 2004. Naoko Matsui debuted also in France in April 2003 for solo performance of works by Eugène Ysaÿe at Presbytery / Présbytere of Saint-Cast-le-Guildo. Naoko Matsui collaborated with Belgian composer Henri Pousseur, Hao-Fu Zhang and Jean-Marie Simonis during Belgian Contemporary Music Seminar “Chambre d’Écho” at Royal Music Conservatory of Brussels (2005 and 2003) in French Section and Chapel Boondael / Boendael of Brussels (2003) as violinist for trio and duo. Simultaneously Naoko Matsui appeared on Radio Clara TV Commercial as 1st violin tutti member role of Ex. Thêàtre Saint-Michel Orchestra conducted by Rogier Bausier in Brugge / Bruges (2003, on-air during 2004 to 2005) and a campaign film project for Belgian STIB / MIVB with Gentes and Communal Actors School in Ixelles / Elsene as "Maestro on the Streets" role for performing extracts of Sonata No. 1 for violin solo by Paul Hindemith in Brussels (realized in Spring 2004). Naoko Matsui also performed Chaconne by Tomaso Antonio Vitali with Organ accompaniment at Saint-Catherine Church of Brussels on 07 May 2005. There Naoko Matsui never lacked chamber music ; as Marketing Project in CRMB, Naoko Matsui and cellist Adrien Tsilogiannis realised their duo "Micromégas" to be become the winner of V Festival Tremplins Jeunesses Musicales, one of the most recommended Belgian National Chamber Music Competition at the same time of their concert performances at Fête de la Musique at MIM Brussels, Maison des Musiques of Hoeilaart, ULB / VUB New Season Ceremony and Royal Academy of Belgium.

In 2007, Naoko Matsui graduated from “Institut Supérieur de Musique et de Pédagogie” of Namur / Namen (IMEP, Belgium) in MA at Primus in the Violin Class of Prince Alexandre Igor Leterme-Tkatchouk of Belgium with “grand distinction” for the final result and twice of “the greatest distinction” for the violin as principal instrument. Shortly afterward became concert soloist for the First Violin Concerto by Niccolò Paganini with “Orchestre Symphonique de Namur (OSN, Belgium)” conducted by Michel Déom on the OSN Gala Concert 2007 at IMEP Church-Concert Hall of Namur / Namen on 24 November 2007, Christmas Concert at “La Plante” Church of Namur / Namen on 23 December 2007, Saint-Christophe Church of Hannut on 19 April 2008, Saint-Martin Church of Leuze on 25 April 2008, and espeially Collégiale Notre-Dame and Saint-Domitianus of Huy / Hoei on 01 June 2008, for Their Majesties the 6th King Albert Second of Belgium, 6th Queen Paola of Belgium, the then 5th Queen Fabiola of Belgium, the spouse of the late 5th King Baudouin of Belgium, the then Prince and present 7th King Philippe of Belgium, the then Princess and present 7th Queen Mathilde of Belgium, Princess Astrid of Belgium, Prince Lorenz of Belgium, Prince Laurent of Belgium, Princess Claire of Belgium, Princess Elisabeth of Belgium, Prince Gabriel of Belgium, Prince Amedeo of Belgium, Princess Maria Laura of Belgium, Prince Joachim of Belgium, Princess Luisa Maria of Belgium, Princess Laetitia Maria of Belgium, Princess Louise of Belgium, Prince Alexander Igor Leterme-Tkatchouk of Belgium, the then Belgian Prime Minister Yves Leterme, the President of Flemish Regional Government Kris Peeters, and the then Mayor of Hoei / Huy Anne-Marie Rizin.

During concert career mainly in Belgium and Italy, Naoko Matsui obtained also the Soloist Diploma after the performance of Violin Concerto by Richard Strauss (2010) and the Concert Artist Diploma (Diplôme de Concertiste ; 2009) at “Institut de Musique Eugène Ysaÿe (Music Institute ; IMEY)” with each result unanimo-maximum. And successfully completed Postgraduate Music Program in Violin by “Erasmus Hogeschool of Brussel“ of EU at Koninklijk Muziek Conservatorium van Brussel (Flemish Royal Music Conservatory of Brussels, 2011, Belgium) in the violin classe of Prince Marek Zygmunt Simon Leterme=Rosenberg-Kowalski of Belgium at the same time of performances on Caleidscoop Concert Series and performed First Violin Concerto by Niccolò Paganini, Violin Concertos by Jean Sibelius and Max Bruch, Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso by Camille Saint=Saëns, Zigeunerweisen by Pablo De Sarasate and at Grand Concert Hall of Koninklijk Muziek Conservatorium van Brussel, and Violin Concerto by Niccolò Paganini and Tzigane by Maurice Ravel at the Auditorium of Kleinzavel for the annual concerts by Suzuki Bruxelles Open Solo. On 12 April 2013 debuted in Slovenia in the framework of Svirél Upol International Music Festival's solo concert, there performed "Giga / Gigue" from Partita No. 2 by Johann Sebastian Bach at Saint-Maria Church of Stanjel Slovenia for His Majesty the 6th King Albert Second of Belgium.

Since 2012 Naoko Matsui began living in Germany, there obatained the German National Artistic Qualification in Violin issued by Johannes Brahms National Music Conservatory in Hamburg in May 2014 and immediately afterall enrolled to the “Concert Exams” Program for more Soloist career in Germany. Also in Germany debuted as soloist in Germany for "Winter Concerto" from „The Four Seasons“ by Antonio Vivaldi and “Adagio” from Doppel Concerto for Violin, Piano and Orchestra by Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdi with pianist Matthias Nilsson and the Orchestra for Abschlusskonzert Festival Cortinas 2013 conducted by Pedro Cortinas on 16 October 2013 at the Chappel of Tannenhöhe Villingen. There also performed "Summer Concerto" from “The Four Seasons” by Antonio Vivaldi on 29 August 2014 with the Orchestra for Abschlusskonzert Festival Cortinas 2014 conducted by Pedro Cortinas.

In 2014 Naoko Matsui debuted as the soloist violinist in Austria for Concerto No. 3 “Strassburg” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart with Savaria Symphonieorchester at Festsaal of Casino Baden on 26 July, in the framework of the Wiener Musikseminar 2014 ; International Masterclass for Conductors and Soloist with Orchestra of Martin Sieghart in University for Music and Performing Art Vienna (mdw; Universität für Musik und darstellende Künst Wien) and debuted as a soloist also in Italy with Orfeo Stillo Orchestra conducted by Fernando Romano for Chaconne by Tomaso Antonio Vitali, Cantabile by Niccolò Paganini for Violin and Orchestra Version of Giuseppe Arnaboldi, Doppel Concerto by Johann Sebastian Bach with Giuseppe Arnaboldi, Romance by Ludwig Van Beethoven at Immaculate Church of Crotone on 28 December 2014, after winning at XVI Vincenzo Scaramuzza International Competition 2013.

During 2014 Naoko Matsui also became Rostered Artist at Price Rubin & Partner as soloist violinist with orchestra for Sponsored Concert Program (and the contract with Price Rubin & Partners had been extended in end 2006 for next years). In 2015 performed also solo part of "Suite in Old Style (Suite im Alten Stil)" by Alfred Schnittke with Johannes Brahms National Music Conservatorium Orchestra for twice concerts at their Concert Hall in Hamburg on 27 February 2015 conducted by Krzysztof Skladanowski and the Redeemer Church (Erlöserkirche) of Hamburg on 28 February 2015 conducted by Leon Gurvitch, professor of the orchestra conducting at Johannes Brahms National Conservatory in Hamburg. At the same time of concert performances "The Naoko Matsui Interview" mit Moonpeel CEO and Co-Founder Gaëtan Lerminiaux, "Naoko Matsui Radio" program by Jango Radio and "Moonpeel Teaser" with Brahim Rachiki had been on-air since end of 2015.

This year 2016 began with Naoko Matsui's New Year Solo Violin Concert "Le Petit Concert du Sablon de Nouvel An" at Jacob Norden Fine Antique of Sablon in Brussels Belgium on 10 January 2016 and debuted in Berlin as soloist for the First Violin Concerto by Niccolò Paganini on 23 January 2016 on the reccommendation of the President of Internationale Beethoven Gesellschaft Professor Tomasz Tomaszewski and also performed on concert series of Euro Music Festival & Academy at Händel Karree Concert Hall of Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg in Hallesaale / Händelstadt Germany. Naoko Matsui debuted as soloist with orchestra in Hungary for Violin Concerto by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky with Danube Symphony Orchestra conducted by András Deák on 01 & 04 July 2016 at Danube Palace / Duna Palota of Budapest, Switzerland for Violin Concerto No. 2 "La Campanella" by Niccolò Paganini with Budweis Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by David Švec on 10 July 2016 at Conservatory of Bienne / Biel "ROTONDE", and Spain for Autumn Concerto by Antonio Vivaldi with Orquestra de Cámera Galega with Director-Concertino Rogelio Groba Otero on 13 August 2016 at Ciudade da Cultura de Galicia of Santiago de Compostela.
