We Are A Family

He went away to make us a brand new home
this ol' house seems to have all gone wrong
the roofs caving in from the weight of sin
but He's promised us a new home
soon we're gonna be gone
a brand new life we'll begin

We are a Family headed home to the Father
and soon He's gonna have all His children there
and we'll have supper sitting 'round the family table
O, what a wonderful time we'll have when we get there

There'll be no worries over things that happen in this life
all will be joy when we lay eyes on our new home site
That'll be a homecoming like you've never known
so press on a little harder, it can't be much farther
