I Love My Van
Well I heard those Nashville singers
Singing bout their four wheel drives
Jacked up red neck Cadillacs
Slingin mud off all four tires
Well out behind the barn
I have got a truck or two
And I sure do like a pick-up
For the things that it will do
But come six o’clock on Monday
When it's time to be a working man
I go out in the driveway
And start my ol Dodge Van
--------------------
Chorus
I like my pick up, but I love my van
I've got my shelves there in the back
Where I keep all the tools I can
It’s a rolling workshop, for a working man
I like my pick-up, but I love my van
--------------------
When I go up on the mountain
To cut dead wood for the stove
I drive a little Nissan that I bought in ninety four
The wind shield's cracked and the muffler’s gone
And the brakes don't work at all
But driving slow in four wheel low
She carry s all the wood I haul
I use my F-350 for hauling heavy loads
But when I need my tools
I take my Dodge Van up the road
------------
Chorus
-------------

Sometimes in the summer
When we want to see a show
I toss a futon in the Chevy bed
And take her up the road
We go up to the drive-in
Back the truck into a spot
Tune the AM to the sound track
And then kick back and watch
But when the weekends over
I put the futon in the barn
Park the truck out back
And start my ol Dodge Van
