The SteelDrivers - Lonesome Traveler

“Lonesome Traveler” is a modern song written by Tammy Rogers and David Leone. The song’s theme of alienation is told in a series of vignettes, but the last version tells of final redemption and ends on a positive note. The SteelDrivers have performed this tune in concert many times where fans have been moved by its story and deeper meaning. Like “Brother John” it was recorded for “Hammer Down” but did not find the perfect place in the sequence for that project.
