LOOKING FOR GHOSTS


We were LOOKING FOR GHOSTS in Grandma’s house
We all tried to be quiet as a mouse
We crept up the stairs and just as we feared
One of us kids had disappeared.

We were LOOKING FOR GHOSTS in Grandma’s cellar
We were getting kinda hungry so my sister went to tell her
A long time passed and just as we feared
My little sister had disappeared.

We were LOOKING FOR GHOSTS and it was getting late
I said, “This ghost stuff’s not that great.”
I turned around, and just as I feared
The rest of my friends had disappeared.

I was LOOKING FOR GHOSTS and I was all alone
I went to the kitchen to use the phone.
I opened the door, my friends yelled, “Surprise!”
There was a Halloween party before my eyes.
