I've got tea on to brew

There's whiskey in the cupboard if that's what you need to do

I've lived outside of Portsmouth here for close on 15 years

These hills they hold my memorie

These valleys catch my tears

It's here I lost my true love

He passed away on Christmas day 11 years gone by

Though it was him we buried then I swear 'twas me that died
