Biography
MURPHY DUNNE (keyboards) was an accompanist at Chicago’s SECOND CITY troupe and shortly afterward became an actor on the company’s main stage. He began the free music program in Chicago, producing the first free blues festival with blues legend WILLIE DIXON. He was president of the Atlantic Records comedy groupTHE CONCEPTION CORPORATION (three albums). He’s scored several feature films, including Mel Brooks’ HIGH ANXIETY and LOOSE SHOES, and has had featured roles in THE BIG BUS and BLUES BROTHERS 1 and 2, in which he played Murph, leader of Murph and the Magic Tones. Murphy has acted in many commercials and has released two solo albums. He’s also worked with JOHN WILLIAMS, DAVID SHIRE and BARBRA STREISAND. Murphy has met many famous people but says few of them will admit it.

ROB LEWINE (bass) spent the late 1960s and early 1970s in a number of bands, including the ILLINOIS SPEED PRESS (Columbia Records), SONG (MGM Records), CITY LIGHTS, BLUES IMAGE, and early versions of the GRASS ROOTS and LITTLE FEAT. Along the way he jammed with STEPHEN STILLS, DAVID CROSBY, BUDDY MILES and JIMI HENDRIX. In 1972 he excused himself from the music business, saying he’d be right back -- and spent 35 years as a photographer, shooting assignments for publications such as LIFE, TIME, ESQUIRE, FORBES, FORTUNE, SMITHSONIAN, NEWSWEEK, and TRAVEL & LEISURE, and for film studios, TV networks, design firms and ad agencies. In 2002, he took up music again and in 2006 began playing with Murphy Dunne. With the addition of Larry Treadwell and Howard Greene, THE ENZYMES were formed. Rob has lived in Laurel Canyon since the 1960s -- before there was a stoplight at Lookout Mountain Avenue.

LARRY TREADWELL (guitar/music director) Composer, songwriter, musician, producer and arranger hails from New Haven, Connecticut. At age 20 he was signed to a contract with Motown Records by legendary Rolling Stones producer ANDREW LOOG OLDHAM. Larry has composed music for films and for shows on ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, CW, NICKELODEON, A&E, DISNEY, MTV, TBS and OXYGEN. He’s played guitar for THOMAS DOLBY, CYNDI LAUPER, THE POINTER SISTERS, KELLY CLARKSON, EARTH WIND AND FIRE, THE ROLLING STONES and ANGELA BOWIE. In 1998 Larry received a Grammy nomination for best instrumental arrangement for the Thomas Dolby song "KEY TO HER FERRARI." He’s also recorded and produced a long list of artists at his Simple Roger Studios, including TIFFANY, LESLIE NIELSEN, MARTHA DAVIS (The Motels), AND ROSEMARY BUTLER (James Taylor). Larry plays guitar with the GROUNDLINGS THEATRE band.

HOWARD GREENE (drums) hails from Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. He remembers seeing the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show and noticing that Ringo and those drums looked pretty cool. Howard acquired his first drumset in 8th grade. After earning a degree in orchestral percussion at the INDIANA UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF MUSIC, Howard realized his interest in a career in classical music had waned and again gave his drumset full attention. Howard has performed with musicians across the musical spectrum, including BOW WOW WOW, the Knack’s DOUG FIEGER, rockabilly pioneer RAY CAMPI, saxophonist BIG JAY MCNEELY, eclectic recording artist SKIP HELLER, Chicano music legend LALO GUERRERO, Tony award winner STEW, and former Dave Brubeck bassist EUGENE WRIGHT. Howard’s a member of the house band at the GROUNDLINGS THEATRE in Los Angeles.

ROXANNE MAYWEATHER (vocals) began her career as an actress/singer on the Los Angeles theatre scene. She has since worked on voice-overs for television and films including HOUSE PARTY, ALLY McBEAL, THE SUPER, HEAT, FORGET PARIS, ROBOCOP, DREAM TEAM, and THE SUPER. On camera, she’s worked on projects such as CHEERS, CRIMES OF PASSION, NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET V, LACKAWANNA BLUES. She was a “Keenette” on the KEENAN IVORY WAYANS show. In addition to performing with saxophonist Warren Hill, Roxanne has sung on demos for many artists and recorded an album with legendary jazz singer Anita O’Day. She’s provided support vocals for Dreamgirl Jennifer Holiday and has performed with the Peter Duchin Orchestra. She toured for five years with HIGHWAY 61, the premier Bob Dylan tribute band.

PHYLLISS BAILEY-BROOKS (vocals), born and raised in Los Angeles, is a singer, actress, vocal director/arranger and performance coach, and has toured the world from Bangkok to Paris. Her numerous stage and television credits, whether center stage or behind the scenes, include JELLY'S LAST JAM, AIN'T MISBEHAVIN', LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS and MADTV. She and Roxanne Mayweather have been singing together since they were children.

"Radio Creds" are votes awarded to artists by radio programmers who have downloaded their music and have been impressed with the artist's professionalism and the audience's response to the new music. Creds help artists advance through the AirPlay Direct community.

Only radio accounts may add a Radio Cred. One week after the track has been downloaded the radio account member will receive an email requesting a Cred for each artist they've downloaded.
