ABOUT THE CD "LET THE NATIONS BE GLAD"<br />

The CD "Let the Nations Be Glad" is a celebration of God's plan to draw people from around the world to Himself. Employing gentle, heartfelt harmonies, fingerstyle guitar, and world rhythms, the listener is invited to join with the Psalmist in proclaiming, "May all the peoples praise you!" (Psalm 67:5)<br />
<br />
The album begins by examining the Biblical basis for missions, including the veracity of the resurrection ("Christ the Lord Is Risen Today [He Is Risen Indeed]") and the good news that God's plan is for all people ("Let the Nations Be Glad"). This is followed by God's call to individuals to be a part of His plan to reach the world ("Here I Am, Send Me").<br />

The third part focuses on the missionary on the field, including the confidence that comes from faith ("Faith Mighty Faith"), the primacy of proclaiming the Gospel message ("Mary Had a Little Lamb [His Name Is Jesus]"), the central role of the Bible in evangelism ("Speed the Word"), and the reliance on God to sustain ("Shadow of the Almighty").<br />

The next part is the response of the receiving community, as they enter into worship ("Yesu Azali Awa [Jesus Is Here]") and express gratitude for receiving the message ("Thank You for Sending the Missionaries"). The album ends with a celebration of the ultimate success of Christian missions, as believers from every tribe, tongue, and nation enter into worship of God in this life and the next ("Glory to Our God [Multicultural Praise]").<br />

The album itself is an international work. First, the vocals and rhythm guitar were recorded in France. Then, Dove Award-winning producer and vocalist Terry Franklin (formerly of the Gaither Vocal Band) worked with top Nashville studio musicians and engineers to create a polished sound that retains the gentle nature of the vocal performances.<br />

The all-star cast of musicians on "Let the Nations Be Glad" includes the legendary John Willis on acoustic and electric guitar, mandolin, banjo, and dobro, Garth Justice on drums and percussion, Duncan Mullins on bass guitar, Bill Murk on violin, Tim Crouch on mandolin and violin, Sam Levine on penny whistle, Gary Prim on synth orchestration, Brian Green on keyboards, and Terry Franklin and Pat Berning on background vocals.
