"Back as a young boy, as the excitement of the Christmas season would start to fade in our home, we would do all we can to make it last as long as possible....as we just did not want Christmas to end. I remember saying jokingly on several occasions that I wish it could be Christmas every day of the year. This lighthearted number was written as an attempt to live out that childhood fantasy, as also the first time I ever wrote a song with a "swing" feel to it."
