DREAM LAST NIGHT

I had a dream last night
I was walking down a lonesome road
I felt the dirt beneath my feet
I heard a river as it flowed
shadows shakin’ in my path
Playing as a full moon glowed
Shadows shakin’ me inside
But I did not let it show

I felt a freedom only flying dreamers feel
All of my fears fell away
Seems like the dream was closer to reality
Than all that I see when I awake
I had a dream last night
Or was it yesterday?

There was a stream of light
Shooting through a starlit sky
There was a bright, electric shot
Of pure, white lightning in my eye
I heard a distant voice, so clear
Telling me, ”always listen well,
There is so much there to hear
And every sound has much to tell”

yes, I felt a freedom only flying dreamers feel
and all of my fears fell away
