Biography
Raw organic music with NO artificial sweeteners. It's GOOD for you!
"Our slogan isn’t completely true,” says Wicked Saints lead singer Paul McCarty. "Some is slightly toxic.” Wicked Saints' music is a cool eclectic mix of styles – from folk-rock, americana, swampy Louisiana grooves to reggae styled pop/blues, a driving beat, or sweet and heartfelt.
Singer/songwriter Paul McCarty hails from New Orleans. His southern roots show in his songs. Paul was a music composition major in college and has a background in indie film scoring. He’s backed up by the illustrious Chad Watson on bass. Chad is from Missouri and has played with many luminaries including Charlie Rich, Janis Ian, Freddy Fender and more. Drummer John Gannon has an impressive dynamic presence and Bobby Thomas adds beautiful colors on piano and accordion. Many others played on the album, including blues man, David Vidal on slide guitar and Brent Michelle on background vocals. We’ve recorded our debut album at Milestone Recording in Los Angeles, produced by Annie Miles and at Wilmac Studio in Altadena, produced by Paul McCarty and David Williams.
